Yvonne Smith Klitsner

Yvonne Smith Klitsner, Ph. D. is a Jungian psychotherapist in private practice in San Francisco. She works with adults, couples, and adolescents with a focus towards what is constellated within the therapeutic process between patient and therapist. Her interest in the multiple forms of interaction between people, both conscious and unconscious led her to research and write her dissertation, entitled, Destined Meetings: Synchronicity, Intentionality, and Archetypal Meaning in the Initial Therapy Session, a body of work that explores the dynamic of the therapeutic couple specifically as it occurs in the first session and how the frequency of synchronistic occurrences seem to indicate a more healing potential, not only for the patient but also for the therapist.
