Catherine Svehla

Catherine Svehla, Ph. D. is passionate about the power of myth and story to transform our lives, our consciousness, and our connection to the cosmos. As the chief mojo-maker at Mythic Mojo, Catherine works with individuals to discover the mythic patterns in their lives and understand the mythological perspective. She has a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and was awarded a New Mythos grant from OPUS Archives for “Blisters on the Way to Bliss,” a project in the Joseph Campbell collection. Catherine lives in Joshua Tree where she also leads the High Desert Mythological RoundTable® Group and hosts “Myth in the Mojave,” a weekly half-hour of storytelling and conversation about mythology on Radio Free Joshua Tree.
